Photography has been my passion since I got my first hot pink camera on my 7th birthday and I’ve been hooked ever since. At Iowa State University, I studied Business Management. My husband, Jon, and I both graduated in 2007 and moved back to our hometown of Belle Plaine. We started Your Memories Photography in the spring of 2008 using our home basement as the studio. In 2011, the studio made its big move to Main Street. In 2019, we moved the studio once more down the block to the other end of Main Street.  In 2023, the studio is moving to Norwalk and will now be Abbi Garling Portrait Studio!

Every day, we are thankful for getting to create images that you will have forever to look back on this time in your life. We love connecting with families and seniors to create a memorable session experience along with awesome images, and then afterward help you with selecting heirloom products so you can forever enjoy these images and remember this time in your life. When we’re not working, you can find us spending time with our two little girls, traveling, or just playing outside and watching movies!  In 2022, we moved our family to the Des Moines area (Norwalk) where we enjoy homeschooling our girls.  We are commuting back to the BP area for photo sessions monthly and now offering sessions in the Des Moines area as well or anywhere you'd like to travel!
